Hello from Dodo Payments,
We’ve been shipping a lot behind the scenes at Dodo Payments. This edition of the Digest brings you the latest features, resources, and community updates to help you monetise smarter and faster.
Here’s a short gist of what’s been up:
Feature Spotlight: Customer Credits
A smarter way to reward, refund, or pre-fund without breaking your billing flow.
Credits now automatically apply to subscription invoices, letting you:
Incentivise loyalty with promos
Compensate for service interruptions
Offer prepaid balances seamlessly
And with our new Wallet APIs, you can add or remove credits programmatically, trigger them from referrals, upgrades, or any workflow.

New Resource: Cookbooks
We’re breaking down how top products handle billing and showing you how to build those patterns with Dodo Payments.
Think trials, seats, usage, credits, retention flows, promos, lifecycle emails.
Our goal: help you ship billing that grows MRR.
First up: Cookbook #1 – Build an AI Image Generator with pay-per-use billing.

Open Source: Billing SDK
Our Billing SDK has been live for a while with many contributions and PRs already merged.
