### Payments

**4% + INR 4 applies to local one-time transactions for businesses based in India. Standard rate(4% +15c) applies to subscriptions and global businesses (international payments fee will also apply).*

### Are there any setup fees or monthly charges?

No. Dodo Payments has zero setup fees, zero monthly charges, and zero minimum commitments. You only pay when you process a transaction. Standard rate is 4% + 40 cents per domestic US transaction.

### What does the Merchant of Record model include?

As a Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments handles global tax compliance (VAT, GST, sales tax), payment processing, chargebacks, disputes, fraud prevention, and invoicing across 220+ countries and regions. You focus on building your product while we handle the rest.

### How does pricing work for international transactions?

Domestic US card and wallet transactions are 4% + 40 cents. International payments (cards and APMs outside US) add 1.5%. India domestic transactions are 4% + 4 rupees. BNPL and PayPal add 3%.

### Is subscription billing included in the pricing?

Yes. Subscriptions, addons, and usage-based billing add just 0.5% per transaction. Invoicing, tax management, analytics, reporting, and usage-based metering are all included at no extra cost.

### What payment methods does Dodo Payments support?

Dodo Payments supports credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, digital wallets, local payment methods, PayPal, and Buy Now Pay Later options like Klarna and Afterpay across 220+ countries and regions.

### How do payouts work?

Standard payouts are free. A fee of 5 dollars applies if the payout is less than 1000 dollars. Standard foreign exchange rates apply on non-USD settlements. USD SWIFT payouts for non-US businesses are 25 dollars.
