Contactless Payment
What is Contactless Payment?
A contactless payment is a secure transaction made using a card, smartphone, or wearable device that utilizes Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. Instead of swiping or inserting a card, the customer simply taps their device near a compatible terminal.
These payments use the same security standards as EMV chip cards but offer a much faster checkout experience. They have become the standard for small-value transactions in many parts of the world.
