How to Incorporate a Company in Wyoming as an Indian? | Dodo Eye-Q
Description
So you're thinking of incorporating and you've heard that Wyoming is an interesting place. Well you're right. Delaware historically was the most preferred state for incorporation but Wyoming has become very popular over the past few years. It has no income tax, low taxes as well as a simple incorporation process. However you have a lot of challenges as an Indian to set up environment. First of all setting up an entity in Wyoming through an agent is not legal as per RBI. You need RBI approval for each transaction for an entity incorporated outside India. Secondly of course you need to pay yourself through a wholly owned subsidiary which has its own challenges of transfer pricing etc. Thirdly while the upfront incorporation is simple, they have a lot of complications and additional costs and expenses because you're hiring US resources. So I keep telling people don't worry about setting up an entity just work with a merchant of record like Dodo Payments.
