Stripe is complex from a developer experience (DX) perspective. Polar builds on top of Stripe. Stripe gets a lot of negative feedback about locking businesses. I haven’t heard anything bad about @dodopayments. Yesterday I tried it for web development: the experience was smooth and the documentation well-written. I can finally say I’ve found my payment provider for all my businesses. Well done, guys!

That’s a good question. @lmsqueezy isn’t feasible for me as Stripe isn’t available in India and I’m under 18. Gumroad was easier to set up, but its fees are high. I’m actually planning to switch to Dodo Payments (@dodopayments) for better support for 🇮🇳 and low fees (4-5%).

Every payment gateway has its pros and cons. Didn't found anyone good at everything. LemonSqueezy offers great features but has a slow approval process. You can also try out Dodo Payments; they are faster to approve and support Indian payments well.
